CHROMIUM PICOLINATE NF - Introduction
Chromium picolinate, a supplement or substitute for type 2 diabetes, is the antidiabetic mechanism of CrPic in insulin-resistant 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Chromium picolinate (CrPic) is a dietary supplement that can be used to study its potential as a regulator of glucose uptake and insulin activity. CrPic was used to study its effect on the transmission of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB) and nuclear factor-E2-related factor -2(Nrf2) in animals. Chromium picolinate (CrPic) is a supplement or substitute for type 2 diabetes. Experimental evidence shows that CrPic has an effect on glucose uptake by activating p38 MAPK. Chromium is thought to enhance the effect of insulin, leading to increased insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetes.
